Most people run straight across the sand —
— to get to the sea.
But sand is beautiful, too.

Lovely! I so love the meeting of land and sea.
I do, too, Eliza. I love the way sand on the beach changes colour and texture depending on the tides, the time of day, the time of year, the temperature, the weather and all of those things. It’s a big part of the beauty of the beach, I think.
I always say that there is never a bad day at the beach. Even when it is stormy, it is beautiful.
